The new Hunter XC Hybrid will operate on 6 AA batteries or plugged into a standard wall socket. It has the same great water management control as the regular Hunter XC timer. This timer uses 2-wire DC valves (our part numbers TDIGVA34, TDIGVA1, TDIGVA112 or TDIGVA2, below). With the global seasonal adjustment (0-150%) you can alter the amount of watering to accommodate changing weather conditions. The non-volatile memory insures against unreliable power and will retain current time, day and program information even without power.
Wire from the timer to the valve can be run up to 75 feet using Dripworks 18 gauge Direct Burial Wire. Wire can be run up to 200 feet using 14 gauge wire.

These valves work with the Hunter XC Hybrid above. Special DC latching solenoid valve. NOTE: These valves will NOT work with DIG timers.

This new Netafim battery water timer and valve are useful in situations where you have low pressure but lots of water. This might be the case with a large gravity system. The valve also requires very little flow to operate. It can handle dirty water, though you wouldn't want dirty water going into drip tape or other emitters. The valve mounts directly on the timer or can be connected with up to 750 feet of 18 gauge wire. The valve has a port for the optional regulator TANPR which is adjustable from 10 to 50 PSI. The valve TANV112 requires the timer TAN to work and the two are sold separately.
