Electronic Timers

The new Hunter XC has great water management control. With the global seasonal adjustment (0-150%) you can alter the amount of watering to accommodate changing weather conditions. The non-volatile memory insures against unreliable power and will retain current time, day and program date.

The new Hunter XC Hybrid will operate on 6 AA batteries or plugged into a standard wall socket. It has the same great water management control as the regular Hunter XC timer. This timer uses 2-wire DC valves (our part numbers TDIGVA34, TDIGVA1, TDIGVA112 or TDIGVA2). With the global seasonal adjustment (0-150%) you can alter the amount of watering to accommodate changing weather conditions. The non-volatile memory insures against unreliable power and will retain current time, day and program information even without power.
Wire from the timer to the valve can be run up to 75 feet using Dripworks 18 gauge Direct Burial Wire. Wire can be run up to 200 feet using 14 gauge wire.

The Pocket Star timer is a very low cost timer that still has a wide range of features.   We added this timer to our product line as an alternative to battery timers for the person that needs only a few stations at an economical cost.   Electronic timers generally have greater flexibility and longer life than battery timers.   If you need more than one battery timer, and have electricity nearby, it may be worth going to an electronic timer and valves. This timer is compact with dimensions of 4 1/2" long by 3 3/4" high.

Orbit has redesigned the Control Star timer to add extra features that will meet almost all needs. This is a very easy to program slide timer that can be programmed "at a glance".   Using Smart Scan protection, it comes equipped with program backup, diagnostic scanner, surge protection and an automatic resetting circuit breaker.   Watering duration uses slide switches rather than a display which makes it very easy to set and adjust watering times.   Switches are set for 2,5,10,15,20,25,30,45,60 and 120 minutes.
